Thank you for taking the time to look at my website!

My name is Stephanie Haas, the face behind Diesel Addict Photos.

I was born and raised in Wisconsin with no background in the trucking industry until beginning employment at a limestone quarry in 1997.  During that time, a couple of outside dump trucking companies sparked my interest in trucks with the sound of straight pipes, the black smoke and all the chrome.  It wasn’t until a couple years later that my “addiction” to big trucks transpired with a 1999 Peterbilt 379 flat top and a 1978 Peterbilt 359 daycab.

After years of being in awe of big trucks, I dabbled with taking truck pictures more consistently in 2015 and started a Facebook and Instagram page to share those pictures.  2016, I believe is where my passion for what I do now, began.  I attended more truck shows, met some wonderful people in the industry and had my first contribution in 10-4 Magazine which was a show report on the Pride and Polish show at Fitzgerald’s in Crossville, TN.  The beginning of 2017 marked some life changes with moving from Wisconsin to Missouri and in July of 2017, I embarked on my own as a freelance photographer along with writing creative content.

Today, I remain steady in my passion for commercial truck photography fueled by my addiction to big trucks and the desire to continue bringing positive to an industry that, more often than not, possesses negative.  I have been fortunate to go from an occasional contributor, to a monthly contributor with 10-4 Magazine and dubbed the “Roving Reporter” with all my traveling across the country.  I pride myself in always striving to better myself with the improvement of my skills and continually learning about the industry I am so passionate about.  I am honored to not only be a part of some amazing projects in the industry, but most important to me personally, the honor I am given to be able to tell someone’s story, their truck’s story and share my love of large cars…one photo at a time.
